Southeastern Newlin Association Reunion
The Newlin Reunion is an annual event held the first Sunday of August, 1:00 p.m. at Chatham Friends Meeting in Snow Camp, NC. This is a potluck gathering of family members and their guests.
This family event began in 1960 and is the brainchild of the late Dr. Algie Inman Newlin. Algie was a history professor at Guilford College who traced his Newlin family roots back to the 1500s. In 1965 he published 'The Newlin Family Ancestors: Descendants of John and Mary Pyle Newlin' in collaboration with his brother, Harvey Newlin. View more on Algie Inman Newlin's family and other
